Specifically, elementary schools in Kenedy ISD, Karnes City ISD, and Pawnee ISD were used Marathon Oil grant funding to implement Imagine Learning math programs, such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imaginelearning.com\/programs\/blueprint\">Blueprint<\/a>\u2014an early learning math program\u2014for the 2018\u20132019 school year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2011, Marathon Oil has partnered with Reasoning Mind, a nonprofit organization, to provide online math programs for schools throughout the Eagle Ford region of Texas. Imagine Learning acquired Reasoning Mind in July 2018 and has continued to honor the partnership. This past week, Marathon Oil presented checks to the district grant recipients that will support STEM learning in their schools. Educators involved in the grant project note strong learning gains for students since the program\u2019s inception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"521\" src=\"http:\/\/steer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-12-at-4.34.22-PM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5011\" srcset=\"https:\/\/txogamsn.txoga.org\/steer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-12-at-4.34.22-PM.png 600w, https:\/\/txogamsn.txoga.org\/steer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-12-at-4.34.22-PM-300x261.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> <br>\u201cThe success of the whole child is dependent upon a host of benefactors including teachers, administrators, parents and community stakeholders,\u201d shared Principal KendraWuest of Pawnee ISD. <\/p><p><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe consider&nbsp;Marathon Oil to be one those valued benefactors whose generosity is directly responsible for continued student growth. Due to the continued support of Marathon Oil, our teaching staff is better equipped to challenge our students in the areas of math and reading utilizing Imagine Learning resources.&nbsp;We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the support provided by Marathon Oil.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through their social investments, Marathon Oil offers grants to support education for schools and nonprofits.
