Here are a few details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>HJR 82&nbsp;proposes&nbsp;an amendment to the Texas Constitution to establish the generate recurring oil wealth for Texas (GROW Texas) fund.&nbsp;<\/li><li>GROW Texas&nbsp;would protect taxpayers by utilizing revenues&nbsp;already paid by the oil and gas industry.<\/li><li>We must&nbsp;ensure the safe and reliable transportation of people, products and services to keep the Texas energy boom alive. Governor Dan Patrick.<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legislative session will soon be ending, so take action TODAY and voice your support for safer Texas roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can take action by going to this URL:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.texansfornaturalgas.com\/r?u=v1iiQRhx2rsZhhc2ZHUaD6BkIXMLgzHu4QFpn1V0Law&amp;e=013386cf12eef1adef019c2ca87f57f7&amp;utm_source=northtexansfornaturalgas&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=hjr_82_all&amp;n=4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/p2a.co\/tNwnBGW<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Included in the supplemental appropriations bill (SB 500) is an important appropriation to ensure the continuation of revenue for the state from the Texas energy corridors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SB 500, House version, includes $250M from Economic Stabilization Fund (ESF) for the purpose of targeting funds for counties in our state\u2019s energy sectors to address critically needed road infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the recent developments in the Permian Basin, the Eagle Ford Shale and other basins, our state is witnessing historic investment and economic development which benefits the entire state through funding to the Permanent School Fund, Permanent University Fund, Highway Fund, General Revenue Fund and the ESF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, the communities in our state\u2019s energy basins are also facing increased accidents and fatalities on their roads. Utilizing ESF funds which are comprised 100% of oil and natural gas production tax deposits does not impact general revenue.
