The Eagle Ford shale continues to have an unprecedented economic benefit for South Texas and has fundamentally changed the region across many facets including the areas of economic development, healthcare, real estate, infrastructure and beyond.

In 2012, the total impact of the Eagle Ford Shale play was $61 billion and there were more than 116,000 full-time jobs associated with the play.

Studies project there will be an economic output of $89 billion associated with the Eagle Ford Shale by the year 2022, with more than 127,000 jobs.
